Here are some helpful tips to try if you're having issues accesing site features:

Try deleting temporary Internet files and cookies:

  1. Go to the Start Menu and click on Settings--Control Panel. Click on Internet Options.
  2. A dialog box appears titled Internet Properties. You are on the General tab. In the middle of this box is a section called Temporary Internet files. Select the Delete Files button.
  3. Next, select the Settings button.
  4. Another smaller dialog box appears, titled Settings, at the top of this box is the sentence Check for newer versions of stored pages. Make sure your setting is on Every visit to the page.
  5. On that same dialog box titled Settings, toward the bottom there are three buttons, click the View files button.
  6. An explorer type window will appear; these are your cookies. From the file menus at the top, choose Edit--Select All.
  7. The files will be highlighted, select File--Delete to delete those cookies.
  8. Close this window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.
  9. Close the Settings dialog box by clicking the OK button at the bottom.
  10. Close all browsers and try again. You may need to restart your computer.

Make sure cookies are enabled:

  1. Go to the Start Menu and click on Settings--Control Panel.
  2. A dialog box will appear. Click on the Internet Options icon.
  3. Another dialog box will appear. Go to the Privacy tab and click on Advanced. Check the Override automatic cookie handling box and Always allow session cookies box
  4. Click OK and close all browser sessions. Reopen and begin again.

Add www.gcsaa.org to your allowed cookie sites:

  1. Go to the Start Menu and click on Settings--Control Panel.
  2. A dialog box appears titled Internet Options. You are on the General tab. Click on the Privacy tab at the top of the Internet options dialog box.
  3. At the bottom of this screen there should be an Edit button, select this button.
  4. In the Address of Web sites field, type http://www.gcsaa.org and select the Allow button. Click the OK button on the screen to close.
  5. Close the Internet Options dialog box by clicking the OK button at the bottom.
  6. Close your browser and open a new one to refresh. Return to www.gcsaa.org and try to login.

Enable your ActiveX controls

  1. In your browser, go to Tools, and Internet Options.
  2. A dialog box appears titled Internet Options. Click on the second tab at the top, called Security.
  3. Next, select Custom Level.
  4. Another smaller dialog box appears, titled Security Settings, and scroll until you see the heading for ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins.
  5. Enable the following settings:

    * Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
    * Download signed ActiveX controls
    * Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins

  6. Click OK. You will get a security box that says "Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?". Select yes.
  7. Close the Internet Options dialog box by clicking the OK button at the bottom.
