15th Annual Collegiate Turf Bowl Competition

Friday, Feb. 6
8 – 11:30 a.m.

The Collegiate Turf Bowl Competition, facilitated by Leah Brilman, Ph.D., of the Turfgrass Breeders Association, will engage teams of up to four participants in areas of mathematics, turfgrass growth and development, and identification of soils, diseases, weeds, insects and turfgrass species. The exam will also focus on the business and financial management side of the superintendent’s profession. Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring team. NEW! Winners will be announced at the Student/Superintendent Networking Reception Friday afternoon (formally held at the Student/Superintendent Employment Fair and Networking event). Also, this competition is for undergraduates only. Individual member registration is necessary. Teams will sign in together on site.

Student/Superintendent Networking Reception

Join us for the ever-popular announcement of the 15th Annual Collegiate Turf Bowl Competition winners and team placement. This reception will also provide additional networking and team camaraderie opportunities for all who attend. Make plans to attend and develop strong peer-to-peer connections that make a difference!
