GCSAA Leadership Survey
Perhaps the best means for a particular profession to gain recognition and respect is to be placed in a position of authority. How many times have we seen or heard "Four out of Five Dentists Recommend Crest" or "Children's Bayer Aspirin, Recommended by Pediatricians Worldwide" in advertisements? GCSAA has parlayed the expertise of its members to capture extensive recognition through a variety of mediums.
In each of the past seven years, GCSAA has conducted a survey of its members at conference & show as a means to capture information on the game and business of golf. Results of the surveys are then packaged with graphics and distributed to the media in a manner that communicates the expertise of golf course superintendents. Last year, the GCSAA Leadership Survey reached a circulation of 17.6 million generating 43 million impressions. It reached such outlets as USA Today, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Boston Herald, Denver Post and other outlets.
