They are made from cotton Lycra, nylon Lycra, microfiber polyester and synthetic leather. The launch follows a successful market trial, and the products are now available at fishing tackle shops and outdoor sports stores including Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, The Sports Authority, Sportsman's Warehouse and Magellan's travel store, or online from www.glacierglove.com
"Our Dr. Shade gloves are designed specifically to protect the back of your hands which are heavily exposed to the harmful effects of the sun," commented Dick Swan, Glacier Glove president and CEO. "With the growth in awareness of the damage the sun can do to your skin comes a need to protect yourself against it. The Dr. Shade range is ideal for people who spend prolonged periods of time exposed to the sun, be it for work or leisure.

A recipe for success from ITPF
The International Turf Producers Foundation, a charitable foundation of Turfgrass Producers International, has used a variety of means to encourage turfgrass sod producers, manufacturers, suppliers and other green industry associations, to support the Foundation's goal of supporting turfgrass related research.
Now, the foundation is planning a cookbook for the summer of 2006.
“ Mow Food, Please! will be colorful, refreshingly different and somewhat unique,” according to Michelle Williams, who is overseeing the project for ITPF. “Imagine a 300+ page book filled with great recipes submitted by farm families from around the world. The book will include recipes for main dishes, side dishes, appetizers, desserts, salads, soups, beverages, and a great deal more. It's sure to be a great addition in any family's kitchen and a wonderful keepsake.”
In addition to its collection of down-on-the-farm proven recipes, the cookbook will also feature special sponsored pages that include photographs of turfgrass sod farms, their history, and a complete menu submitted by each sponsor.
“Everything that appears inside this cookbook is a direct result of submissions from turfgrass sod producers and their families. Even the title “Mow Food, Please!” was the result of contest submissions solicited from TPI members and their families,” according to Williams.
