New this year is the Sunset 9 at Torrey Pines. This bonus playing opportunity is open to any player who has registered to play in at least one of the GCSAA Golf Championship formats (Four-Ball, Golf Classic, National Championship or Scramble). The Sunset 9 at Torrey Pines event is a fun 9-hole shotgun outing starting at 3pm at the iconic Torrey Pines North Course. For just $99 per player (including cart), players enjoy a relaxed round of golf. All proceeds from the event go to the GCSAA Foundation. The GCSAA Golf Championships, presented by Toro, provides an opportunity for all GCSAA members to come together in a fun atmosphere where they can meet new peers and reconnect with old friends. At 3 pm on Saturday, Feb.1, GCSAA and Toro will host the annual 19th Hole reception at the Torrey Pines Hilton. This gathering features complimentary food and beverages and is open to any player participating in at least one of the formats (Scramble, Golf Classic, Four-Ball or National Championship).
While the most significant element of the GCSAA Championship will be the crowning of the 2025 GCSAA National Champion, popular events like the women’s scramble flight (in addition to the women’s scramble, women are encouraged to play in all events) and the Toro Par 3 Shootout will also return. The 2025 Toro Par 3 Shootout will award a Toro Workman® GTX Lifted Utility Vehicle to the Shootout winner. The 2025 Toro Par 3 Shootout will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, at Torrey Pines. The event features complimentary food and drinks for all GCSAA tournament participants.
GCSAA-affiliated chapters are encouraged to enter teams to compete in either the National Championship or Golf Classic. Prizes will be awarded for all events including individual and team recognition.
