There’s an app for that.
It seems like a lifetime ago when that ad first appeared. Since then, apps have only grown more prevalent: some good, some not so good. Many have made our lives easier — maps and weather come to mind for me – and others not so much.
At GCSAA, it’s all about making our member’s lives easier. Two ways this is done is through apps.
GCSAA Conference and Trade Show app
The first is the GCSAA Conference and Tradeshow (CTS) app, which can be downloaded through the links below:
Google Play Store
Apple App Store
Login for the app is the registrant’s email address and first name — the first name is case sensitive.
This app will give you everything the show has to offer in the palm of your hands. This includes exhibitors and attendees, convention and trade show maps, as well as agendas and schedules. If you have questions, the app likely has answers. I would encourage
each attendee to download the app prior to heading to Orlando.
GCSAA Now app
The second app is the GCSAA Now App.
Google Play Store
Apple App Store
The GCSAA Now mobile app provides GCSAA news and information directly to your phone or tablet. Download documents, interact with fellow members, update your membership info and more.
GCSAA Now has features to make the most of your app experience including:
- Log in once, and you are in!
- Relevant, up-to-date GCSAA news and content.
- Interact with other members through the "Discussions" and private messaging features.
- Find other members in your geographic proximity with the "Near Me" feature.
- Keep track of national and local GCSAA happenings with the "Events" feature.
- Have easy access to membership documents and other information in the "Resources" section.
Once you download the app, use your gcsaa.org credentials to log in. I personally enjoy the various polls featured on the app as well having all GCSAA news and pertinent info in one place. The app really does a great job giving members an all-in-one platform,
as well as promoting the great work superintendents do to a wider audience.
If you haven’t checked out either app, please do. I bet you’ll find something on there that will make your life easier.
See you all in Orlando next week! As always, if you’ve missed a previous post, please check them out below.
