In March 2006, GCM’s Seth Jones joined members of the Rocky Mountain GCSA on a relief trip to New Orleans to assist golf courses that had been damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Two years later and in advance of GCSAA’s return to New Orleans for the 2009 GCSAA Education Conference and Golf Industry Show, Jones is going back to report on the progress that’s been made on those courses. Just visit www.gcsaa.org/solutions/solutions.aspx and look for the Super Tools module, where you can find tools for everything from calibrating a boom sprayer to determining how much concrete will be needed to fill a certain area.
