Budgeting for the Big Easy

Registration for the full conference package	$275 (does not include education seminars, which require additional fees)	Register by the advance registration date to secure the lowest possible registration fee. If you are a new member or have never taken advantage of your one-time complimentary registration, this is your chance!*
Airline ticket	$350 (average domestic flight price as of July 2008)	Contact Golf Industry Travel and a representative will research all routes to obtain the best rate. Within driving distance? Visit the member only forum to see if there is someone else in your area you could share driving expenses with.
Airport shuttle	$28 round trip	GCSAA has secured this special rate from Airport Shuttle. Learn more about this special rate.
Hotel room	$553 (3 nights at one of the $163 official conference hotels, includes tax and city occupancy fee)	Share a room with a friend or colleague. Visit the member only forum to see if there is someone else looking for a roommate. This amount is based on the availability of a $163 room so make your reservations early for the best hotel selection.
Meals	$300 ($75 per day for 4 days).	Attend full-conference events that include food/beverage – the Welcoming Reception and Innovative Breakfasts for example. Many chapter/exhibitor events also include food/beverage.
Ground transportation	$0	Stay in an official conference hotel and utilize the complimentary shuttle to/from the convention center and evening events. New Orleans is known for its “walkability” and many hotels are close enough to the convention center you can walk.
TOTAL ESTIMATED COSTS	$1,387	This cost could be reduced by $275 if you are able to take advantage of the FREE full conference registration package for members.*

*This is a one-time benefit offered to all GCSAA members. Redeemable for one full conference registration package (seminars excluded) at the conference and show of the member’s choosing. No cash value will be awarded.

A Successful Event Is Guaranteed

GCSAA is so confident that you will be completely satisfied with your 2009 conference and show experience that we will refund your registration fee if you are not. Simply send a letter by Feb. 20, 2009, explaining why you weren’t satisfied, to GCSAA Registration, 1421 Research Park Drive, Lawrence, KS 66049. Refunds will be paid directly to the original fee payor.
