GCSAA Class A superintendent/director of golf Scott E. Hickey is hosting the Fort Smith Classic at Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Ark.
GCSAA Class A superintendent Fred W. Klauk Jr. is hosting The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Klauk will be front and center on The Golf Channel this week. On Wednesday, reporter Adam Barr followed Klauk around for his duties. That piece will re-air as a lead-in to Klauk’s interview Thursday at 11:30 a.m. (eastern) on the Live From The Players Championship. On Sunday, a feature will be aired about a man who is suffering from glaucoma and is visiting some of the nation’s top sporting venues. Klauk provides the behind the scenes tour and commentary.
