Members: How to receive points for external education

Pre-approved programs:

If your program has been pre-approved, you should receive an approval code at the end of the program. To record your attendance and receive the education points, submit the code using the education affidavit below. If you did not receive this code, your program was not pre-approved.

Have you attended an educational program you believe should qualify for education points? If so, have the program reviewed by submitting the member application for education points and the detailed, timed agenda for the program. 

Are you thinking of attending a program and want to know whether the program will qualify for education points? You can also send in the member application for education points to find out.

Programs must meet the following requirements:

• Provide education relevant to the golf course management profession
• Have clearly defined learning objectives
• Have a minimum program length of one hour
• Must be non-commercial

Note: All programs sponsored by golf industry companies must be pre-approved through the sponsor in order for attendees to earn education points.
