Internships

Exposure to the practical side of the profession

An internship brings the classroom theory and knowledge of golf course management down to earth.

In addition to earning credit in some programs, internships provide on-the-job training, business operation analysis, personal contacts and job placement opportunities, all while building self-confidence and leadership ability.

The golf course superintendent, or other staff, and a school faculty member will work with you to optimize a mix of hands-on experience and an educational goal that fits with your professional aspirations.
