Chapter Cooperative Research Program
The Foundation's Chapter Cooperative Research Program works with GCSAA-affiliated chapters by providing matching funds for applied agronomic or environmentally related research.
About the program
- The program will fund $15,000 maximum per year for up to two years.
- University scientists may apply for grants without matching funds. However, grant applications with matching funds may be given preference.
- A letter from an officer of a GCSAA-affiliated chapter who is also a GCSAA member, which supports the project submitted, is required.
- For applications including matching funds from chapters, a single GCSAA-affiliated chapter, multiple GCSAA-affiliated chapters working together, turf associations or foundations, golf associations, or any combination of the organizations previously listed should match dollar-for-dollar the funding requested from the Foundation. Organizations may contribute more than $15,000 to a project but the Foundation will only match up to $15,000.
