About the survey
From October 15, 2012, through November 5, 2012, survey invitation links were distributed via email to the sample group of GCSAA Class A, and SM (superintendent member) members, totaling 8,268 members. The final result of completed surveys totaled 1,636 of the distributed 8,268, a response rate of 20%.
Respondents were asked questions about topics such as aerification, topdressing, mowing, grooming and rolling. Results are reported by course feature, including greens, tees, fairways and rough.
