Highlights from the report
In February 2018, an online survey was sent to superintendent members of the GCSAA in the United States totaling 7,362 members. The final result of completed surveys totaled 1,816 data sets of the distributed 7,362, a response rate of 25 percent.
Respondents were asked to provide their total maintenance budget including all labor expenses and excluding capital expenditures. The nationwide average maintenance budget for an 18-hole golf course in 2017 is $739,493.
